Press conference for "Addio alla Danza" ("Farewell to Dancing")

Sofonisba accompanies Elisabetta Armiato, interpreter and prima ballerina at the "Teatro alla Scala di Milano", during the evening "Addio alla danza" ("Farewell to Dancing")

"35 years after her entrance at the Scala as a pupil of the "Accademia della Scuola di Ballo" Elisabetta Armiato says goodbye to her dancing shoes. During these years she has become one of ths most qualified dancers, she danced with the greatest artists, she was directed by the best ballet masters as  Balanchine and Nureyev and she received several prizes.

Elisabetta, always charming and light as a feather, has kept on being a protagonist on the scene till today. Now, she will  pledge herself in order to reach other  goals. First, a  "Gala for childhood" in support to the campaign"Perchè NON accada" ("it doesn't have to happen") at the Teatro all'opera in Rome" (ANSA).

Sofonisba is strongly supporting Elisabetta in this important transition: we have seen for organizing the communication concerning her "dismission party" and followed her closely in her sponsor role for the "Gala for Childhood 2007" in Rome.
